Now, gas cylinders will reach your home within minutes of ordering. Like household ration items, you can also order LPG cylinders from the quick commerce platform. Leading quick commerce company ‘Instamart’, in collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), has announced the launch of such an on-demand LPG delivery service for the first time in the country. Through this service, customers can now order HPCL’s new 10 kg ‘HP Navya’ composite LPG cylinder through the Instamart app.
Special features of ‘HP Navya’ cylinder:
This composite cylinder is very light in weight and there is no fear of rusting in it. It is completely safe. Since the outer part is transparent, customers can easily see the gas level in the cylinder. With its modern design, it will be very useful for apartments, small families, students, employees and people who need extra cylinders. According to the information received from the company, it is not necessary for the customer to have a domestic LPG connection for this facility. As a result, students living outside, bachelors and small families will be able to easily take advantage of it. This service is going to be started first in Bengaluru city. Here, customers can order the 10 kg ‘HP Navya’ along with the existing 5 kg metal cylinder. Identity verification (KYC) and proof-of-delivery process will be mandatory for first-time customers.
How to order?
- The customer will first have to open the Instamart app on their mobile.
- There, they can choose between 10 kg ‘HP Navya’ or 5 kg metal cylinders and place an order.
- On first order, the customer will get a new cylinder. However, the empty HPCL cylinder will have to be returned at the time of delivery for refill.
All these orders will be delivered only through HPCL’s authorized distributor network and will be delivered by the company’s trained staff as per safety rules, officials said.
