Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has invited investors from the UAE to partner in the next phase of Odisha’s industrial development. Approximately 400 businesspeople, investors, and representatives of the UAE business community attended the ‘Odisha Investors’ Meet – UAE 2026′ held in Dubai.
The Chief Minister highlighted Odisha’s natural resources, competitive strengths, ports, industrial infrastructure, skilled human resources, and investment-friendly environment to the investors. Discussions focused on investment opportunities in sectors such as LNG storage, green energy, artificial intelligence data centers, rare earth minerals, ship repair, propellant manufacturing, fertilizers and chemicals, housing, and steel and downstream industries.
Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain emphasized the government’s policy of ‘Speed, Certainty, and Execution’ and assured investors of government support at every stage of their projects. Senior government officials, Indian diplomatic representatives, and prominent industrialists from the UAE attended the event. The Dubai roadshow has not only strengthened economic ties between Odisha and the UAE but also created new opportunities for capital investment, technology transfer, industrial growth, and employment generation in the state.
