Actress Krithi Shetty, who has carved a niche for herself in South Indian cinema through her acting prowess, is now set to make her Bollywood debut. After establishing herself in the South Indian film industry, she is preparing for her entry into Bollywood. She will embark on this new journey in Hindi cinema with a romantic film, the shooting for which is scheduled to begin later this year. Although making a mark in Hindi cinema will be a challenge, Krithi is very excited about it. The film will be directed by Vidhi Ghodgaonkar.
She has worked with director Rohit Shetty for 17 years; this extensive experience has ultimately inspired her to establish herself as a director. However, no details regarding the film’s plot or the rest of the cast have been revealed yet. Nevertheless, it is expected to present Krithi to Bollywood audiences in a completely new avatar. The makers will announce the film’s title soon. Krithi first garnered attention with the Telugu film ‘Uppena’ and subsequently gained recognition for her work in both Telugu and Tamil cinema. She was last seen on screen alongside Pradeep Ranganathan and SJ Suryah in Vignesh Shivan’s ‘Love Insurance Company’. Her upcoming projects include the bilingual film ‘Genie’, in which she will star alongside Jayam Ravi, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Kalyani Priyadarshan. All eyes are now on her Bollywood debut. It remains to be seen how successful Keerthy will be in winning over Hindi audiences after her success in South Indian cinema.
