In Ayurveda, castor oil is very beneficial for hair. So let’s know how to use it.

Castor oil and coconut oil:
Applying castor oil with coconut oil keeps hair healthy. Castor oil is very thick. Therefore, adding coconut oil reduces its thickness slightly and makes it easier to apply on the hair.

How to use:
Mix 1 teaspoon of castor oil with 2 teaspoons of coconut oil. Warm it slightly and massage your child’s scalp gently.

Castor oil and almond oil:
Almond oil is rich in vitamin E, magnesium and fatty acids. It keeps the scalp healthy for children. This oil prevents dandruff. Adding equal amounts of castor oil to it makes the mixture very thin and is suitable for summers.

How to use:
Mix equal amounts of almond oil and castor oil and massage your child’s scalp twice a week before going to bed.

Castor oil and jojoba oil:
Jojoba oil has a similar structure to the natural oil (sebum) produced by our body. It keeps the scalp hydrated without drying it out.

How to use: Children sweat a lot during summers. In such cases, applying jojoba oil along with castor oil on the scalp helps in hair growth.
