The government has taken a big decision regarding the Subhadra Yojana. Deputy Chief Minister Parvathi Parida has stated that new Subhadra registration will start from April 1. He said that efforts are being made to connect more eligible beneficiaries to this scheme.
The application process will continue from April 1 to 30. This is to add new beneficiaries for the financial year 2026-27. The age of the women who will join this should be 21 years as of April 1, 2026. (From 21 to 60 years). Only those who have not applied or joined the Subhadra Yojana before can apply for it. They must be permanent residents of Odisha. Those who have already applied or become beneficiaries will not be included in this new application.
Government employees, pensioners, income tax payers, big landowner families, etc. will be exempted from this. The beneficiaries will get Rs 5000 in two installments of Rs 10000 each per year, totaling Rs 50000 in 5 years.
How to apply?
Apply online on the official Subhadra portal (subhadra.odisha.gov.in).
Offline: Apply by taking the form from the Common Service Centre (CSC), Aam Seva Kendra (ASK), Anganwadi Centre (AWC), or CDPO office. The form is available free of cost. Documents like Aadhaar, bank account, photo, address proof, etc. are required. e-KYC is also required.
