60 Days Without a Salary: Delhi Man Shares Heartbreaking Yet Inspiring Survival Story.

The salary or credited message that comes to the mobile phone at the end of the month gives a strange joy to every employee. But what if this salary suddenly stops? How will the household expenses be met? How will the house rent be paid? Many such questions disturb the minds of employees. Due to this fear, many people are struggling in a bad office environment or ‘toxic job’ but cannot muster the courage to quit their jobs. However, overcoming all these fears, a young man from Delhi has taken such a step, which has now become a topic of discussion on social media.

Salary not received for two months:

A young man named Karan shared a video on his Instagram account and narrated his experience of 60 days. He wrote in the video – “60 days without salary”. For those who are working, this one line is nothing less than a nightmare. Karan shared through his video how difficult it is to suddenly resign from his old job without any new job offer and to go without any income for two months.

After waiting for two years, he took a big decision:

According to Karan, he resigned from his job towards the end of last March. He had been working in this company for two years. Every year, he thought that everything would be fine during the next ‘appraisal’ or salary increase and the officer’s status would change. But since there was no improvement in the situation, he was finally forced to quit his job.

“Dharma is an addiction”:

In the caption of the video, Karan wrote a very big thing, which is in harmony with the life of every employee. He wrote, “Addiction is a kind of addiction, which is very difficult to give up. Every month, money comes to our account on a specific date and we become happy. We weave our entire life, dreams and EMIs around that salary. So it takes a lot of courage to get rid of that addiction.” After Karan’s video came on social media, thousands of employees expressed their reactions to it. Many youths who are going through the same situation as Karan wrote their stories in the comment box.

A user wrote, “I also left my toxic job for peace of mind because I did not have a second job in hand.” Another user wrote, “Today is my last day in the office and I do not know what will happen next, but I am happy.” And another employee shared that he changed his corporate profession for the rest of his life. In today’s competitive era, many youths are suffering from mental depression due to the pressure and bad environment of the corporate world. In such a situation, the story of this young man from Delhi proves that sometimes, for the sake of one’s mental health and peace, it is necessary to take a ‘break’ in life, leaving behind the addiction to money.
