Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took a big decision. The government has said that the contractual schematic junior teachers will be given regular employee status. The government has announced that this regular status will be implemented from the time of joining the job. The employees will be given regular status retrospectively from January 1, 2026.
The junior teachers in this category appointed in the year 2023-24 will be regularized. The government has said that more than 13,000 schematic teachers will benefit from this.
