Addressing workers in Kerala on Friday (April 3), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Sanju Samson’s performance under pressure teaches valuable lessons in concentration and staying calm. He said, “The cricket season is underway, and there is a lot to learn from this for the people of Kerala. As we often see in Samson’s game, we saw the same in the World Cup as well.”
He added that Samson’s game improved as the tournament progressed. Modi said, “When the tournament reached its crucial moment and the knockout matches began, his performance reached its peak. From start to finish, his focus, confidence, and energy continued to grow; this is the mark of a true player.”
