Government of India has taken a big step regarding Arunachal Pradesh. According to this, 27 places have been introduced in the official map of India. These places have been identified and placed on the official map of the Survey of India. The government has a major objective behind doing so. The government wants people in the country and the world at large to know about these places. An official letter has also been issued by the government in this regard. These 27 locations include land areas, roads and hills. The government’s move is seen as a warning to China, which has been routinely renaming border towns and other places in Arunachal Pradesh.
Know about these 27 places-
These 27 places are Longju, Maja, Bisa, Bada Kundum, Sola Kundum, Dhyan Badi, Preetanagar, Buddha Mandir, Jayarampur, Teritnagar, Ramnagar, Sagar, Padma, Jytnagar, Baisakhi, Sola Ropuk, Bada Ropuk, Shivaji Nagar, Kamles Nagar etc. The monument area has the only Sher-e Thapa memorial. The lake has Sambho Sarovar. The passages there include Jo La, Riza La, Pukur La, Thug La, etc.
Government alert on Chinese intrusion –
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu said on Friday that her government will verify the reports of alleged Chinese infiltrators in Taksing area of Upper Subansiri district with the Indian Army and local people. After this there will be no discharge. The Chief Minister said, he will not believe such news without clear facts.
