Google One Free Trial India: Claim 100GB Storage via Airtel Thanks App

These days, telecom companies are offering free cloud storage of Google One with many recharge packs to attract customers. This facility is available for a period of 6 months to 18 months. But this ‘free’ facility can create a big problem for you in the future. Normally, Google gives 15GB of free storage to every user. But in Jio or Airtel offers, you are getting huge storage ranging from 100GB to 2TB. The problem starts when this free period ends.

If you fill up the free 1TB or 2TB of storage with your photos and videos, then after the offer ends, Google will bring you back to the limit of 15GB. In such a situation, new emails will stop coming as your storage limit is exceeded and you will not be able to send mail to anyone. How much does Google storage cost? If you want to keep that storage, you will have to pay a monthly fee after the free offer ends. Plans start at Rs 130 and go up to Rs 650. If you don’t want to pay, deleting thousands of photos and videos or saving them offline can be a big headache.

Follow these tips to avoid storage problems: Turn off Google Photos backup: Photos and videos take up the most space on your phone. So don’t turn on auto-backup in Google Photos. Save important documents: Use free storage only for important PDFs, documents or office emails. Manual upload: If a photo is very important, keep it in a separate folder on Drive. Don’t waste storage by uploading all the photos. How to stop Google Photos backup? Change these settings on your smartphone immediately: First, open the Google Photos app. Click on your Profile Icon on the top right. There, go to ‘Photos settings’. Click on the ‘Backup’ option and turn it OFF. Don’t fill up the cloud storage unnecessarily because it is free, otherwise your Gmail outlook may be interrupted later.
