‘SemiCon India 2026’ in Delhi: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi inaugurated the Odisha Semiconductor Pavilion. The journey from ‘Sand to Silicon’ was showcased. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw visited the exhibition highlighting the semiconductor and electronics policy.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi participated in the ongoing ‘SemiCon India 2026’ event in Delhi; he inaugurated the Odisha Pavilion at the Yashobhoomi exhibition venue and toured the facility. On this occasion, he held discussions with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The conversation focused on further strengthening the semiconductor sector in Odisha, as well as fostering investment, technology, innovation, and skill development within the industry. The Chief Minister has stated that the State Government is committed to building a robust semiconductor and electronics ecosystem in Odisha. At the same time, emphasis is being placed on enhancing Odisha’s contribution to the growth of the country’s electronics and semiconductor industries.
