Hyderabad: Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge,’ directed by Aditya Dhar, has made a bang at the box office. The action-spy thriller film was released in theaters on March 19, 2026, and has already created history with its first-day performance. The film, a sequel to Dhurandhar, has garnered a lot of attention even before its release with an interesting story based on espionage, revenge, and political drama. According to the insider, the film collected a net collection of Rs 102.55 crore in India on its first official day (Thursday). This figure is taken from 21,728 shows across the country. Out of this total collection, the Hindi version earned the highest, Rs 99.10 crore, while the Tamil version earned Rs 1.16 crore. Meanwhile, the Telugu version has earned around 2.12 crores, while the Malayalam and Kannada versions have earned 0.09 crores and 0.08 crores, respectively. Including paid previews and first-day earnings, the film’s total net collection in India has reached 145.55 crores. The total gross collection in India is around 172.63 crores. These figures are among the biggest opening performances in the history of Indian cinema.
Worldwide Collection
Before its release, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has already set records in advance bookings. In the first week, the worldwide pre-sales crossed 250 crores. Some reports even put the figure closer to the 260-300 crore range. In India alone, the pre-sales were around 160 crores, while the overseas market contributed over 100 crores.
