After winning the toss against Punjab, famous broadcaster Danny Morrison surprised everyone by asking Gujarat captain Shubman Gill a personal question. Morrison suddenly asked Gill, “Shubman, is there going to be a wedding reception next? Is there any news that we should know?”
Hearing such an unexpected question, Gill was stunned for a while and only said, “No, nothing like that” with a smile. The video of this incident is now going viral on social media. It is worth noting that last year, i.e., in the 2025 IPL, Morrison had asked Gill a similar question at the Kolkata ground, leaving him in a quandary.
