Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP), stated on Sunday that his party will not be intimidated by arrests or imprisonment. Dipke, who was released on conditional bail just a day before the proposed ‘Lahara Do Tiranga’ (Wave the Tricolour) rally at Connaught Place in Delhi, alleged that the recent arrests and jail terms were intended to scare him. He asserted that the party will neither be cowed down nor take a step back.
According to Dipke, once fellow party members Saurabh Das and Ashutosh Ranka are released, the party leadership will convene to determine their future strategy. Reports emerged that both individuals were sent to five-day judicial custody on October 14. Deepak hopes that both will be released on Sunday.
He stated that once Sourav and Ashutosh return, they will sit down together to strategize and determine the way forward. The events of the past few days—including unlawful arrests and detentions—clearly reflect an attempt to intimidate them. However, they will neither be intimidated nor back down. Deepak further emphasized that this is a long battle, and his team is fully prepared for it.
