Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today release a stimulus package of Rs 2,400 crore under the PM-VBRY scheme. The direct benefit of this amount will be deposited in the bank accounts of 15 lakh beneficiaries through DBT. According to information received from Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, PM Modi will also interact with some beneficiaries of this scheme at an event to be held in New Delhi. The scope of this scheme, which was started to promote employment in the manufacturing sector, has been expanded. Its benefits are now being given for four years.
Who will get how much money?

35 crore jobs to be created in 2 years – According to the Labour Minister, a huge budget of Rs 99,446 crore has been allocated for the Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Employment Yojana. The priority of this budget is to create 35 crore new jobs in the country in the next two years.
63 lakh youth have got jobs since August last year – Data on the effectiveness of this scheme in terms of employment has also been released. Since August 2025, more than 63 lakh youth have joined the formal workforce for the first time through this scheme.
About 30% of the new employees are women – More than 80% of the businesses benefiting under Part B of this scheme are those with less than 25 employees or small enterprises. These statistics show that apart from increasing employment, this scheme is also strongly supporting small and emerging businesses, the backbone of the Indian economy.
Ministers and leaders to join 200 clusters across the country – Apart from the main event today, Chief Ministers and Cabinet Ministers of various states will virtually connect with 200 industrial clusters across the country. Simultaneous regional events will be held at all these locations. In which Governors, Chief Ministers, Union and State Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, MPs, MLAs and Mayors of the states and other dignitaries will participate.
