A major update has emerged regarding the attack on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. According to reports, Tiger was not the initial target of the assailants; they had planned to target another prominent Bollywood celebrity. However, upon arriving in Mumbai, they failed to target that individual and subsequently shifted their focus.
If Tiger was not the intended target, why was the attack carried out?
It is alleged that the assailants discovered—through fan posts and Instagram pages—that Tiger Shroff visits the Juhu football ground every Sunday, where his security is very limited. Therefore, the shooters decided to target Tiger. They believed that since Tiger moved around freely among the general public, it would be easy to target him. It is alleged that, for this reason, they chose Tiger Shroff as their new target.
On October 18, as Tiger Shroff was leaving a football field, the assailants fired five rounds at his car. While Tiger sustained minor injuries, his driver and another person were critically injured. After being shot, the driver managed to drive the vehicle himself and get everyone admitted to the hospital immediately.
The police arrested three individuals accused of carrying out the attack on the actor. They were attempting to flee to Nepal. They are now being brought to Mumbai for questioning. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack on the actor.
