A big welcome to farmers on Janmashtami. The fifth installment of CM Kisan Yojana has gone to the farmers’ accounts. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi distributed money at a special program at OUAT Krishi Shiksha Sadan, Bhubaneswar. Through this scheme, more than 41 lakh small, marginalized, especially backward tribal groups and landless farmer families of the state will be directly benefited. A total of more than Rs 833 crore has been directly provided to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT.
This financial assistance will make the farmers of the state financially self-reliant and encourage them in agricultural work. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and other dignitaries have joined the state-level CM Kisan program. Earlier, the Chief Minister had paid homage for Janmashtami.
Similarly, other ministers of the government have participated in the district-level program and distributed CM-Kisan installments. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari was present in Khordha at the CM Kisan Yojana money distribution program. Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Krishna Chandra Patra in Dhenkanal, Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling in Kalahandi, Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena in Ganjam, Urban Development Minister Dr. Krishna Chandra Mohapatra in Cuttack, Labour Minister Ganeshram Singh Khuntia in Keonjhar, Higher Education Minister Suryavanshi Suraj in Bhadrak, Cooperative Minister Pradeep Balasamant in Jajpur, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Gokulanand Mallick in Puri, Industries Minister Sampada Chandra Swain in Jagatsinghpur were present at the CM Kisan Yojana money distribution program.
