Global Recognition: PM Honored With Indonesia’s Highest Civilian Award

India’s growing presence and diplomatic success on the world stage has been demonstrated once again. Giving a new dimension to the strong historical and strategic ties between India and Indonesia, Indonesian President Praboho Subianto has conferred on Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country’s highest civilian honour, the ‘Bintang Adipurna Medal of the Republic of Indonesia’. This international honour not only reflects PM Modi’s strong leadership, but also reflects India’s growing influence on the global stage. Seychelles also recently conferred its highest honour, the ‘Guardian of the Blue Horizon’, on the Prime Minister.

Previously received many prestigious international awards:

This is not the first time that a foreign country has honoured PM Modi with its highest national award. In the last few years, many major countries of the world have bestowed upon him their top civilian and military awards. In May this year, the Prime Minister was also awarded the prestigious ‘Agricola Medal’ by the UN agency ‘Food and Agriculture Organization’ (FAO) in Rome.
