All the information has been published in the State Election Commission’s e-mail.
Since the list of paper voters has been published, all the voters can check their names and details and submit their claims and objections between July 5 and August 4, 2026. Eligible citizens who have completed 18 years of age by July 1, 2026 can fill out Form-6 and submit it to the BLO or apply online.
Similarly, Form-8 can be used to correct your name, address, photo or other details. It is mandatory to submit the declaration form along with Form-8 only in case of migration from another state.
The main objective of SIR is to include only eligible voters in the voter list and to prepare a clean and error-free voter list by deleting the names of deceased, ineligible and permanently displaced voters. In this process, utmost importance is being given to ensuring that no eligible voter is excluded and no ineligible person is included.
It was informed that the process of filling up the enumeration form, which started on May 30, was successfully completed on June 28. Claims and objections will be accepted from July 5 to August 4. The hearing of all claims and objections will be completed by September 2 and the final voter list will be published on September 6.
