The grand trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited film “Ramayan: Part-1” has been launched. Its event was held in the capital Delhi. The entire cast of “Ramayan” was present at the event. Actress Sai Pallavi, who plays the role of Mother Sita in the film, was praised by the director for her performance and determination.
When Sai was asked how it was to play the role of Sita in “Ramayan”? She said, ‘This role is a blessing for an actress, because playing the role of a goddess is not easy. It requires a team that can give its all to make it the best.’ She added, ‘I don’t think I chose to play the role of Sita. It is my privilege to play this role. I sit in meditation, and say, “Hey Sita Maa, please work through me. Whatever happens through me, should be according to your wishes for the film.’
She further said that, “I kept myself “pure” while playing the role of Sita. I always tried to keep myself as pure as possible, at least my thoughts, which are definitely neutral. So that I can give my best performance.
“Ramayan” is a two-part film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra. It stars Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Laxman and Yash as Raavan. Sunny Deol, Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek Oberoi also play important roles. The first part will be released on Diwali 2026. The second part will be released on Diwali 2027. The film will premiere worldwide on 24 July.
